Upgrade Your At Home Facial
It’s been a year since many of us have paused the spa visits and invested in our at-home Self Care Sundays. Over the past year, we have explored a number of skincare tools, enhancements and methods to make our at home facials as close to the spa experience as we can get. Let’s be clear, we can’t wait to get back to the spa, but we feel like we can now achieve the perfect at home facial in between visits.
Here are a few items to take your Self Care Sunday facials to the next level!
Facial Ice Globes
These liquid filled glass globes are kept in the freezer and are perfect for giving yourself an ice cold facial massage. These globes can help with lymphatic drainage and to minimize the appearance of pores.
Vibrating Facial Bar
Vibrating facial bars, gua sha, facial cupping, all of these tools help with face sculpting. If you find yourself trying often to reduce puffiness, this tool is great. Both the facial bar and the globes can be used over serum and sheet masks to really help get get the product into the skin. This tool is also designed to relax the muscles in the face. After a long day of looking at a screen, this bar is like yoga for the skin.
Facial Scrub/Exfoliant
This step is a bit more polarizing. While many people enjoy facial exfoliation, others may have sensitive skin that doesn’t respond well to a scrub. We love the Tula scrub because it’s a gentle sugar scrub and gently exfoliates the skin!
Cold Sheet Masks
There is nothing like a cold sheet mask to make you feel like you’re really taking care of your skin! The great thing about sheet masks is that they are a quick way to pack serums and nutrients into the skin and can be used multiple times a week! If you are running low on time and can’t use the other tools we’ve mentioned, just using a face mask will make you feel like you’re treating yourself.
