How To Make The Most Out of The First Self Care Sunday of 2022

Tomorrow is the first Self Care Sunday of 2022. For many, this coming Monday may be the first day back at work after a Holiday break. Let’s set the tone for this year by taking care of ourselves and filling up our cups before we get back to the day to day. Make this first Self Care Sunday a little longer, a little more extravagant and a lot more intentional.

  1. Change Your Bedding | Starting out a new week with clean sheets is the only way to go. Starting out a new YEAR with fresh linen is just next level.

  2. Go For A Walk | If it’s a nice day where you are, get outside and enjoy some fresh air. It can be so easy to stay inside on Self Care Sunday, but getting outside and moving around a bit can do wonders for our soul.

  3. Cook | If you enjoy cooking, trying a new recipe or making an amazing meal can feel so satisfying. It’s such a great way to be mindful and in the moment. If not, grab your favorite takeout meal and eat off of your fancy plates.

  4. Take A Luxe Shower Or Bath | Get out the bath salts, bath bombs, oils and your best body cream. This shower or bath should be over the top. It’s the time to exfoliate, add some aromatherapy and make yourself feel pampered.

  5. Give Yourself a Facial | Masking, facial cupping, facial massage, all of these are great additions to your Self Care Sunday skincare routine.

  6. Plan For The Month of January | One of the best gifts we can give ourselves is the gift of peace in the little things. Planning for the month ahead can help you feel like you’re starting the month with a clear picture of your goals, intentions and what needs to get done.
