My Pantry Essentials

Food is a huge part of my life. My heart for food access and wellness equality has made me fascinated with nutrition and how food impacts our health. I learn something new about food every day, and as a result, I’m constantly modifying the way I eat and learning about what serves and supports my body. Don’t get me wrong, I make bad food choices often, but they are that, choices, that I’m able to make with all of the knowledge of what I’m doing and what I have access to. Everyone deserves this right, and everyone doesn’t currently have it.

There are a few items that I always have on hand in my pantry. I try and go to the Farmer’s Market every Sunday, but there are a few items that I keep around that I’m unable to get from the market. Here are some of my must haves!

-Bone Broth | Chicken Bone Broth is great for last minute soups, or is just great to sip on its own
-Eggs | Until I get my Chicken coop (2021, just wait) Pasture Raised eggs are a must
- Toasted Nori | Emerald Cove is a great brand. Wonderful part of a healthy diet!
-Nut Milk | Cashew, Macadamia (for a special treat), and Almond are my staples. Forager and Elmhurst are my two favorite brands
-Tumeric | Tumeric is a staple in my diet, and I always keep it around
