Craft Corner | Holiday Wreath

We have been in a DIY mood lately. If you are a person who likes to change up wreaths for the season, you know how expensive they can be. We wanted to share a fun way to make your own holiday wreath and maybe even save a few dollars! If you already have some Fall decorations around, it could be a great opportunity to use them, or if you’re like us, you don’t need an excuse to head to the craft store.

Materials

One wreath form
A variety of mini foam pumpkins in different sizes
Ribbon
Hot Glue Gun
Optional:
Greeting Sign
Wheat

Instructions

If you are using a sign, you’re going to hot glue the sign to the inside of the wreath form. As you can see, we used the string on the sign to hang it from the form and then secured it with glue. Next, you’re going to start gluing pumpkins all around the form, remaining mindful of any gaps. You can easily put pumpkins all around, but you may end up using a lot of them. If only applying pumpkins to the top half, wrap the bottom half of the form with a burlap or thicker ribbon of choice. We then took pieces of burlap and used it to fill in any gaps between the pumpkins. As an added touch, we glued a few pieces of wheat on the bottom to provide some balance with the heaviness of the top.

Total time to make: 1 hour

This craft is super fun and easy and, in our opinion, is just as cute as anything you could get In store. Happy crafting!
