When I started my first blog at 15, I blogged all about hair and makeup. They are the two of the things I get asked about the most and will forever be one of my favorite topics to talk about! I have tried many hair products throughout the course of my life, and I mean MANY. Over time, my naturally curly hair has changed and evolved. I now feel like I have a lineup of quality products that I use and love. I compiled a list of all of my favorites in every category! You can shop all of the products at the bottom of the post!

Curly Hair - Styling

Pattern Beauty | Leave-In Conditioner and Styling Cream | These are two of the newest additions to my curly hair routine, and I fell in love with them immediately. These products are the best moisturizer for my curls. When it comes to definition, it doesn’t give me the most defined curls, but they are defined enough, and for the level of moisture I get, I’ll take it!

Design Essentials | Almond & Avocado Detangling Leave-In Conditioner | This is a leave-in that I will definitely go back to. It’s very moisturizing and provides great definition to my curls. I do think it has a little more of a gel like texture than the pattern, but I love this one. I do wish it came in a larger size!

Straight Hair - Styling

Kerastase | 8H Magic Night Serum | My hair stylist introduced me to this product when I got my NBR extensions, and it is a GAME CHANGER. You apply it on your hair at night and when you wake up, your hair literally feels like silk.

Extensions

Oribe | Supershine Moisturizing Cream | I like this product with and without extensions. I don’t use it on my curls, but I like it for straight hair. It keeps your hair moisturized and is great for making sure your ends don’t get too dry!

General Hair Health

Shu Uemura | Silk Bloom Restorative Treatment for Damaged Hair | My hair stylist also suggested this product when I got my NBR done, and I really like it. It’s a moisturizing hair mask, and it makes my hair incredibly soft.

Innersense Beauty | Hydrating Cream Conditioner | This is my favorite conditioner. It is such a clean product, and it is SO effective. It delivers a ton of moisture to my hair and makes detangling easy. This is a must have.

Curls | Blueberry and Mint Tea Hair Growth & Scalp Treatment | I really believe these drops made my edges grow back. This is the only product I use that’s targeted at scalp care, and I always have these drops on hand.

Styling Tools

GHD | Straightener | I’ve used many straighteners throughout the years, and this is definitely my favorite. You’re not actually able to change the heat setting, as the straightener has smart heat settings, so it adjusts to your hair. I find that it gets my hair straight but it doesn’t apply more heat than is necessary.

Revlon | Styling Brush | This gives me the best blow out with NBR. You have to be gentle with this tool. Make sure your hair isn’t too wet when you use it so that it isn’t pulling at your hair.

Pattern | Edge Tool | This is the best edge brush. It has amazing bristles that are firm enough to get your baby hair to look exactly the way you want them to!

Conair | Detangling Cushion Brush | This brush is my favorite for extensions. It’s flexible like a wet brush but with a bit more structure to work through any tangles.

Kiss Edge Fixer Glued | Edge Control | This is the least natural product in my routine, and I have to admit, I just love it so much. I have never found a better edge control. This keeps the baby hairs and flyaways in place all. day. long. Until I find a good natural one, I think I’ll be using this. Don’t judge me.
